Need to contact Kisame, or his mun? You can do so here!
Please specify IC or OOC in the subject line, and the method of contact. Some idea of when it's happening in-game would be nice, too.
If you'd rather an AIM conversation, the OOC screen name to contact is Infinity Pikachu, but for in-game conversations, I'm cool with hopping onto Kisame's IC

I would like to deliver a message.
Thank you for your participation in Konan's Hitomi posting of a few days prior. At the time she made this broadcast, I was preoccupied with planning for the war -- forming attack strategies and anticipating the enemy's moves -- and I confess to being overwhelmed, initially, by Konan's actions.
So I kept low, watching the responses.
I was particularly impressed with the way you dealt with Hatake Kakashi. His smugness irritates me.
I was additionally gratified by your willingness to protect Konan. Thank you for tending to this in my absence.
I was trying to give Konan her space to sort her feelings, you understand, and I was keeping low so as not to discourage this, but as you can see, I eventually had my fill and decided to take matters into my own hands. Konan and I have had several long conversations about this.
Kisame, she was on the verge of a panic attack because of those people.
I have made it clear that in the future, she needs to come to me first.
I will deal with them.

Kisame.
[ She pauses. ]
I can't remember the last time I left a message on this thing. You must be busy to turn a call over to voicemail...
[ And she pauses again, briefer this time, a warm sort of smile coming into her voice. She speaks quietly, intimately now. There's something in her words, but the way she speaks may leave one wondering exactly what that "something" is. At the very least, it's promising. Very promising. ]
Call me when you get this? I'll be waiting.

[He's smiling already, voice mellow and affectionate, mind already toying with the familiar but indistinct tone and considering just what it might be. Whatever it is, he likes the sound of it....] Sorry to keep you waiting. What's on your mind?

[ The mattress upon which Valeria rests is made to protest audibly, pointedly as she rolls from her back onto her stomach. Springs would be better suited for this sort of thing, but the sound is distinct, telling, and suits her intentions. ]
Here, on your back, and the sounds I want to make you make...

[Kisame laughs, though he has turned faintly purple at the thought; he's still new enough to relationships to be a little flustered at Valeria being so forthright. The sound of the mattress bag is just as easily recognizeable for him by now as springs are though, and it only makes her tone and intentions all the more obvious. He obligingly moves to start piling the clothes back into the basket he brought them out in; he can finish later.]

Not a skill that Sasori himself possesses, so he doesn't even try, and speaks plainly.]
I spoke to Leader-sama earlier. He wishes to hold a meeting soon, and said that neither you nor Itachi have contacted him as of yet. Perhaps you should do so, when you are able.
[He grows more hesitant, and speaks more softly. It's still something difficult for him, but he has been worried, and even if it's something that he's not used to, he admits to his concern.]
...How are you faring? Have you heard from Itachi? We thought he may have been captured, as we've yet to hear from him.

....I'll live. [He always does.] And I'll contact Leader-sama soon; thank you for informing me, Sasori-san. I haven't heard from Itachi yet, though.... Do you really think he would be captured, after Konoha has to deal with all of this, too? He's in full health, after all....
[He can't help but worry, tired and bedraggled though the sentiment is. Naruto WAS married to Itachi, after all.... And Akira, too. Though the latter was a punk. Naruto hated Itachi, though.... But he also seemed like he would try to avoid fighting, wouldn't he? Maybe he had escaped. Itachi had to be okay. He was more than competent.] I ( ... )

It just makes it more clear that he is still unsure when it comes to dealing with the feelings caused by all of this. It's been affecting his ability to focus.]
Yes, you're probably right. Konoha may well be in too much disarray for that, and Itachi definitely wouldn't be so easy to capture.
[He sighs.]
I'm back in Ame now, as are Leader-sama and Konan. Deidara is also with me.
[He pauses for a moment, and when he speaks again his voice is soft, and somewhat unsure. Reaching out to others is still something unfamiliar to him, and it is made difficult by his own troubles, but Kisame is his comrade, so he will make an effort.]
If...if you wish, you are welcome to join us here. Itachi as well.

I think I'd like that. Maybe I'll come by soon, if you aren't too busy.

Kisame has done things. Like the rest of them have done things but for a while there was not ‘them’ there was just ‘us’ and Naruto still believes that an enemy cannot be his enemy unless he considers them so.
He believes this now, moreso than ever before.]
Uh. Hey. Kisame.
[He speaks before he can think not to speak because to hell with not speaking and turning away, if he is concerned then he is concerned.
Still. Now what? What’s up isn’t exactly something you say to the man who was part of the team that was assigned to find you and immobilise you and help extract the demon from inside you and thusly kill you, is it ( ... )

[Still, Kisame sounds friendly enough when he answers, even offers Naruto a smile that doesn't show too many teeth--he doesn't look too terribly unhappy. He looks more tired and worn down than anything else, like he's been skimping a bit too much on sleep and pushing himself hard while he is awake.] Afternoon, Naruto-kun. I've been doing alright; just keeping myself busy. What about you, how've you been doing? That training of yours coming along?
[There's a hint of amusement there at his own questions; he wonders if Naruto even knows when he's going to go back to his village. (There had never been a need for Kisame himself to leave, not when he himself essentially was the village here.) He ( ... )

Naruto is slowly learning the differences between one and the next.
Stick to the basics. Don’t dig too deep. And above all, know how just be amicable.
Even if it’s faked.
He watches Kisame, but he doesn’t think the smile is faked. It’s not exactly a blinding grin because he does look tired and Naruto knows that this at least, is very real.
Kisame is Akatsuki. Naruto doesn’t know what level a fighter he is (but he remembers feeling him die all the same) he just knows that he would not like to meet Kisame on the battlefield. But here, Kisame looks … just a little bit worn ( ... )

[He shifts to get more comfortable, rubbing his back absently.] I am tired. And I'm keeping busy because I've got to--you ever try to run a household when you're the most capable set of hands around? Much less a village? [He laughs; unlike Naruto, his activity is pure necessity, not keeping his mind off things.] There aren't many people around here, you know, and I've been too busy to tend the fields in this place like I should. There's a whole village's worth of crops to get ( ... )

It isn't; she knows it isn't, but that doesn't make her feel anything close to at ease about Kisame's lack of communication with them (namely Itachi and herself; she knows Kisame isn't fond enough of Sasuke to check up on him) since his departure for Amegakure. She had expected him to call no less than twice, but so far, they haven't heard a thing and--
And it's silly, that she should worry so much. Birthday celebrations where Kisame and Pain are from probably aren't any different than those on Gaia. (Still.)
She puts on a sleepless smile as the call goes through to -- voicemail. It figures. ]
Kisame, if you could call me back when you get this, I --
[ She pauses. ]
Hn. I suppose you don't have to. It is late... I was just calling to let you know that Itachi and I are doing fine. We survived my cooking. I've got everything covered here, so there's no need for you to worry. Try to enjoy ( ... )

[He's had the urge to call them and check in quite a few times, but pointedly refrained from doing so; he worries. That much, he knew already. And he also knows that he probably was worrying just a little too much, by this point. So finding this message is a welcome surprise; he probably would have given in and called before he had gone to bed, anyway. He smiles at the screen, amused at the thought of them merely surviving her cooking. He's eaten her cooking before a few times, after all; it isn't so bad.]
Good to hear! I'd thought you'd have everything well in hand. Everything's going fine over here, too. I hope you two are enjoying yourselves, too?

Following a split second's hesitation, she nods once, firmly. ]
Trying, but it's not nearly as easy without you around.
[ It really isn't. Despite Sasuke's occupation of the house next door and what familiarity she has garnered with Itachi (a true comfort, that, given the circumstances), she can't help but feel uneasy, restless. Kisame has never been so far away and with Itachi in his present condition... she worries, too, but there have been no incidents thus far (unless one was to count the rather awkward conversation had with ( ... )

With any luck, you won't have enough time to get the hang of it; I plan to be back before noon tomorrow. You'd better find a few good ones, because I'll be looking forward to them, now that you've told me.
[Kisame laughs; sure, it might be a little juvenile, but he does appreciate the sentiment. It feels shockingly good to have people to come home to. To know that he's wanted, that he's missed. It's not something he often gets to feel, much less so openly; he's always just sort of assumed that Itachi likes his presence, though there isn't really too much to prove that outright. For the past ten years, he's been following the man around--ever since he left Kirigakure, ( ... )
