I loved Master Butcher's Singing Club! I mean, I love Erdrich, hence why I'm doing my senior thesis on her, but that book, yeah. I remember reading it right after getting off the phone from breaking up with a boyfriend. Ha ha...

Ahhh, you're doing your thesis on her? How cool! What's your focus/angle? I remember reading a book of hers many years ago and not getting into it, but in recent months I've read this one and Shadow Tag and been really impressed.
