I am here, just...not posting. This is because I have been eaten by the White Collar fandom. *headdesk* I blame gyzym, who drew me in with spanking fic, and snegurochka_lee, who told me where to find the episodes and kicked my butt gently encouraged me to give them a try.
Anyone else out there (besides Besa, who I believe I've roped in as well *g*) watch this? Bueller?
Stuff I am enjoying about this fandom:
1. Neal. NEAL. Please witness this pic spam and this vid for evidence of his deliciousness. (And these don't even capture the edge of vulnerability and sweetness that he has under all his charm.)
2. The fun, ridiculously slashy premise: Neal is a convicted felon who escapes from prison only to be caught (again) by Peter, the FBI agent who put him in in the first place. They arrange for Neal to work for the FBI as a "consultant" in Peter's custody -- ie Peter owns him and has the tracking anklet to prove it. (Others far more eloquent than me have written about what a classic D/S relationship these two have. I'll dig up a link if anyone wants it.)
3. Peter's awesome wife, Elizabeth. This is the only fandom I have ever seen where there's just as much M/M/F threesome fic as there is M/M slash, and it's because Elizabeth is way too cool (and Peter is obviously too in love with her) to be killed off or written off in a divorce. I think this is nifty.
4. The show (as wildly implausible as it is sometimes) just makes me smile.
Also, in Star Trek news, hark! I have received another fill on the kink meme! My prompt was this: McCoy and Chekov have been together for a little while and their sex life is pretty great, but they've only ever done it with McCoy on top. One night he shyly/gruffly admits that he loves wouldn't mind bottoming from time to time. Chekov proceeds to flip him over onto his hands and knees and blow his mind. ;-)
And it was admirably filled here by some kind anon (McCoy/Chekov, NC-17). I love that Chekov is definitely a teenager, and it's quite hot, but my favorite part was the way the author wrote the genuine affection between them. Read, enjoy, leave feedback!
