Thanks and pointers
I must have racked up some good karma somehow because I have been blessed with several lovely fannish things over the past few days. First off, thank you to the kind anonymous person who gifted me with balloons in my profile -- they made me smile! ♥
I woke up this morning to find this written for me:
Bad Romance by merkuria (Kirk/McCoy, R, angst/dysfunction)
Sure, Kirk and Bones can be all happy and fluffy, but they also have the potential to be completely wrong for each other -- but unable to stay apart either, as merkuria writes them here. I ached for Bones in this, and I like how Jim's motivations are left ambiguous. Lovely, painful writing.
And a few days ago emiime wrote a cute little McCoy/Sulu/Chekov ficlet for my prompt of "gold shirts." Ahh, the morning after. ;-)
