Helpful Hearts - Help the victims of Katrina

A fundraiser of sorts, to raise money for the victims of the hurricane Katrina.
This disaster is really hard for me to ignore, considering the fact that my name is Katrina (and I've never been so sick of hearing it). This set of textures was made for the purpose of encouraging people to donate to any sort of charity. I am stealing this idea from nardasarmy

I agree with you. It's important to do something even if it's not possible to donate money. My partner's mother works at the American Red Cross National Headquarters and is always shocked to find how many people tell her they 'wanted to help but couldn't because they didn't have money". It's unfortunate how many people think that is the only way to help.

One other thing... When you donate to ANY charity... know that you must stipulate what that donation is for if you don't want it to go to their general charity fund. Be sure that if you are donating for relief in New Orleans that you make that distinction when donating.
