6.07

Nov 08, 2010 21:58

I started off this season with a cautious, but optimistic, outlook.

I was reluctant to throw my lot in and declare love too soon, but in spite of a few concerns, I was close as of 6.06.

The concerns, they are back. )

For all we know, though, Crowley might have been lying about bringing Sam back, snatching Gramps out of Heaven and his reason for wanting to find Purgatory - he is a demon, after all.
It doesn't seem logical to me that Crowley is powerful enough to just snatch a soul out of Heaven without problems. Maybe Gramps wasn't really in Heaven?

I love you. *fears that may sound stalkerish of him*

I've got to say, over all I'm terribly disappointed in how this season is going so far. I can only hope it well get better. (If they make a season seven, I might just have to kill something.)

I agree about your views on the new Crowley, and how it just doesn't really fit in very well. >< It bothers me. Same with how Sam is.

I realize that Sassy fans everywhere will have loved that whole bondagey thing he had goin' on with Castiel, and I thought it was hilarious. However, I believe I will be sticking firmly to my Dean/Castiel love affair ('profound bond'. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee.)

About Sam, though. Yeah, I get the whole 'have no soul' thing, but god dammit, is he a dick. I get why Dean was so pissed at him, but I mean come on, Sam. >I have a fierce love for Castiel in this season, even if he is a bit colder. That thing with the child in episode 3? Not cool, Cas. Not cool. And I know a bunch of people ship Castiel/Balthazar now, but, like I said- Dean/Castiel fanboy forevermore. XD ( ... )

I adored Dean and Castiel in this episode, and trying!RoboSam (I'll call him TinMan!Sam, from here on in, because he's trying to find his heart) made me feel better. He isn't himself, but he's trying, and he obviously still cares about his brother.

The "we all have our mothers" line brought Lilith to mind, and I can't say enough good about the Alpha vamp.

If supernatural creatures go to Purgatory when they die, does that include angels? Include Gabriel? What if this is the setup to bring Gabriel back? Because I'm personally willing to put up with plot holes big enough to sail the Lusitania through if it means bringing Gabriel back from the dead.FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF IF THIS AND THE THING YOU MENTIONED ABOUT ANNA AND URIEL AND THE OTHER DEAD ANGELS TURNS OUT TO BE EVEN REMOTELY ACCURATE AND BRINGING BIG DADDY CAMPBELL BACK WAS ONE OF CASTIEL'S REGRETTABLE THINGS, I WILL EAT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY DOUBTS, AND POSSIBLY MY OWN SHOE ( ... )

I love your brain. I really, really love your brain. The things it thinks are wondrous.

*imagines Dean's reaction*
I think that might strain their "profound bond" a bit. Just a smidgeon.

I've wondered about Grandpa Campbell being in Heaven, too. The quote from 6.01 is roughly "whatever brought Sam up brought me down", so the Heaven implication is there. I think Purgatory is out as an option, so Heaven is pretty much all we've got.

I don't find Gwen wholly detestable, and I think she has potential, but right now she's one of those tough-girl caricatures Show has thrown at us right and left (it took me forever to warm up to Jo because of that).
I don't think Show will ship Dean with her now that Lisa's out of the picture.

I hope there will be a lot more Christian around. I'm really growing to like him.
I'm also fond of the niggling little idea that he and Sam had a thing going on, which would make him the third supernatural creature Sammy has gotten it on with
