um...a street corner, I guess XD bailarinja July 15 2011, 04:39:55 UTC
The Ninja-Style Dancer's injuries, in all honestly, were more emotional than physical. Linkara, Jenn, Vin...he should have been there to protect them. What did he expect to do to that shape-shifting monster that he felt like he had to be the one to fight it?

A sort of helplessness clouded his thoughts. What a bad ninja he must be. He never liked combat anyway, and now he was overwhelmed like this when he did. The Skinwalker took everything out of him, and it didn't save his friends. Their injuries were horrific to look at, the hotel in shambles. And who knew what even became of Harvey Finevoice? He couldn't even fight the Entity. Was he really so useless?

He wandered the shadows, head low, deep in thought, when suddenly he paused, catching a glimpse of bright pink in the distance. Something was suddenly very...familiar about it. He stepped out of the shadows, head tilted in confusion as he squinted to see what was coming toward him.

Pinkie almost didn't even notice the man. He was wearing all black, after all, and it was kinda hard to keep an eye out with this big cart in front of her. When she did notice him, though, it was obvious; she seized the cart's handle and planted her hooves against the pavement, bringing it to a screeching halt right in front of the Ninja.

The second the cart stopped rolling, Pinkie was instantly at the Ninja's side. "Wow! I totally almost didn't even see you there! You must be like the world champion at hide and seek! But I'm pretty sure all the big meanie-face monsters went away, so you can come out now." The pony tilted her head up at the human; he looked kinda familiar. Maybe he'd been at her last party? Well, that wasn't what was important. "Here! Have a cookie!" She darted over to her cart and was back a second later with an open tin of sugar cookies balanced on her nose.

...A pony.

A pink pony.

The chipper attitude, the rambling...this was all giving him a strong sense of deja vu.

And now it was offering him a cookie. ...Well, those cookies did look really good. He hesitated a moment before reaching out to take one, looking between it and the pony a moment before extending a cue card.

Thank you.

"You're welcome~" Pinkie sang, pleased to have helped somebody feel better already. He had to have been scared, after all, to be hiding in an alley like that, and now he was out here and he had a cookie and a friend! "I baked them yesterday! I would've made fresh ones, but, um...the hotel kinda exploded and I haven't found another kitchen yet."

She hadn't thought about it before she spoke, but now she hoped he didn't live in the hotel or anything and this was the very first time he was hearing about it, because then that would only make him even more sad. But even though he looked totally familiar, she didn't think she'd ever seen him in the building before. "My name's Pinkie Pie, by the way. What's yours?"

Fluttershy hadn't had the slightest as to all that had happened--all the complicated things in this city had never been anything she could really understand, but all that she really needed to know was that everyone had put themselves in terrible danger, and hadn't seemed much to come out the better for it.

There wasn't much she could do--she couldn't use magic, like Twilight Sparkle, and she wasn't brave, like Rainbow Dash. But she had to look after her friends, and all the people in the city who were trying so hard. With as many medical supplies as she could manage, she'd set out to help others in any way she could. It wouldn't really be the same as looking after little animals, but it was something...

Pinkie was pushing her cart down an empty road, in a direction she was pretty sure would lead to the hotel, when she caught sight of a familiar light pink mane in the distance. Instantly the pony stopped and ran out in front of the cart. "Oh my gosh, Fluttershy! Hey Fluttershy!" she called, hopping up and down and waving her forelegs in the air to attract the pegasus's attention.

That done, she ran back around and began to gallop at full speed towards Fluttershy, cart trundling along in front of her. If there was anypony who needed company in times like this, it was totally Fluttershy.

It certainly didn't require all the effort Pinkie put in to catching Fluttershy's attention, but at least the other pony always did a thorough job with what she did. Fluttershy blinked at her friend for a moment, a bit startled, before smiling at her approach. The pegasus pony trotted up to meet her.

"Oh, Pinkie, you're out here too. It's good to see everypony helping out."

Coming down the street probably XD ofsunandmoon July 15 2011, 15:13:09 UTC
Stella stared down at the sidewalk she was on, obvious feeling of sadness on the mind. So she wasn't exactly paying much attention to where she was going at the moment to notice anything bright. And on top of that, the hotel apparently exploded as well.

Things couldn't get any worse, right?
