Pinkie Pie had been out shopping for more party supplies - you could never have too many balloons - when she'd heard a huuuuge giant explosion! At first she'd thought it might be fireworks, so she ran outside to see. But it wasn't fireworks. She wasn't really sure what had happened, but what she did know was that there was a big nasty monster and fire and the hotel had blown up.
Pinkie knew she wasn't a doctor or anything, and at first it had seemed like there wasn't anything she could do to help. But then she'd realized that everyone had to be really really sad and scared too, and she couldn't just stand by and let her friends be sad-scared! So, with this thought in mind, the pink pony had jumped into action.
Soon enough, she was galloping around town, pushing a shopping cart full of supplies in front of her as she looked for anyone in need. She had food, drink, even some hastily acquired medical supplies - and, of course, a bunch of brightly colored balloons tied to the cart's handle, bouncing and bobbing behind the one-pony comfort cart as she ran. She couldn't make everything better, but she was going to do what she could.
