Dahlia was less than pleased as she walked around the bean to find that no one even remotely familiar had appeared. She continued around the park slowly, her sandals scuffing along the sidewalk. Her sisters had done this before, shedding their leather in favor of blending in... All the easier to have people trust them without question.

Her gaze fell upon the girl casually reading not too far away. So innocent... so unassuming. Her lips quirked in a small smile before she tore her glance away. Had she been any younger, or her parents around, she'd have made an excellent Mord-Sith... It was a shame such a perfect little project would have to be wasted in favor of this place.

Dahlia continued to walk around a little, casually scrolling through the strange object that she'd been given on her arrival. She didn't care for the strange contraption, but had given in and learned how to use it. For now... She approached the bench the girl was sitting at with a very slow pace. She tore her gaze up from the phone and offered the girl the most genuine smile she could muster.

"Do you mind if I join you, dear?" she inquired as politely as she could.

Kincaid had been lying low ever since his arrival in Chicago - he and Ebenezar had come to a non-verbal agreement, and Kincaid wasn't exactly looking to break that so-called truce in a place so very different from the Chicago he was used to. He had moved from one hotel to the next, never staying in a single place for more than a few days.

After three weeks, though, curiosity led him back to Millennium Park. He didn't know what he would find there, wasn't really expecting much anyway, but decided that if there were any answers to be found, it would most likely be there.

Besides, he had been keeping an eye out for Ivy in case the girl also appeared unwillingly appeared in this place as well.

Dahlia's eyes locked onto the man as soon as he was withing range. Handsome, but the way he walked, held himself... If she hadn't been so good at reading people, she wouldn't have noticed anything different.

She approached him slowly, pushing her hair out of her face. "Could I bother you for a moment?"

Kincaid sensed her coming before she was even close enough to be considered much a physical threat. He turned to watch her closely as she approached, his baseball cap pulled low over his eyes and his expression inscrutable.

He gestured slightly as if to say "well?", but didn't say anything aloud.

Dahlia ducked slightly, to better see under his ball cap. She smiled slightly and tilted her head. "It's only polite to look someone in the eye when they're speaking to you, darling..."

She fluttered her eyelashes slightly before shrugging. "I just found myself a little lost... I was wondering if you could help... But I mistook you for someone who would care."

Etna wasn't really all that interested in finding new arrivals to this place, not unless she could add them to her vassal count or they were the Prince or Flonne or Hanako. What she was more interested in were clues. Etna still wasn't sure what kind of summoning magic had been used to drag her into this place, or even if it was magic at all. Better to get a look and see what she could find than to go completely on assumption.

So far, though, she hadn't found anything. Just a bunch of buildings in the area and a few weird sculptures. She hadn't even seen that many people nearby until now. "Oi, pinky!" Etna called, her voice friendly enough despite the annoyed frown on her lips. "You see anything strange--er, stranger than this place usually gets around here?" Judging by what everyone else was saying, strange was the norm around here.

Dahlia was doing her best to keep calm, to not let her temper get the better of her. But being called "pinky", despite the fact that she was dressed entirely in pink, grated her. She turned to the owner of the voice, quirking an eyebrow before quickly fixing it and offering her as kind of a smile as she could manage.

"It's Dahlia, if you'd please," she corrected the woman with a strained tone. "And I'm afraid I have not."

Etna let out a loud sigh. "Great," she muttered, and crossed her arms, tail twitching behind her. She was oblivious to the woman's annoyance, and even if she did notice, it wasn't likely she would have cared. And if she would have cared, it was even more likely the demon lord would only have made things worse. As it stood, Etna could only inadvertently push buttons for now.

"What is normal for this place, anyway?" she decided to ask. It was kind of a silly question, considering most normal things were considered to be too commonplace to be anything but that. But maybe if this woman was from somewhere else... "You're from another world, right?"

Dahlia took a deep breath, both of her eyebrows shooting up. "Normal for this place, I'm not entirely sure..." She pursed her lips and shrugged. "I am from another world, correct."
