Now, Karakuri Island had certainly not been on Franky's list of most welcoming places--and honestly, he was looking forward to the time he could leave. Dash was flitting around the structure, every now and then landing on it to get a better look at it from the top. It was so strange and for some reason reminded her more of a weird, metal cloud than the bean she had originally thought it looked like. She didn't seemed bothered by the rain just yet but it was on her mind to try clearing it away, eventually...maybe after a nap. After all, she'd already DONE her weather duties for the day it didn't seem fair that she have to work in her dream ( ... )

Well, it said it wasn't evil, that was at least a step in the right direction. Franky put his blocky hands on his hips as the thing swerved around him for a look. "Speedy little bugger, arencha." There were a lot of peculiar things worth noting about this little talky animal-type... thingy, but really, after time with some of the weird creatures on Karakuri, Franky figured there wasn't much point in focusing on them.

Much better to be focusing on, though, was him. In spite of all the irritations going on, Franky couldn't help but break into a wide grin as it asked what he was. "Shoulda known a weird-lookin thing like you hasn't been exposed to this level of awesome before, huh!"

In spite of grinding gears, Franky raised his arms high in a pose that really didn't look like elbows should be able to bend in, pressing boxlike forearms together showing off the star marking embossed on them. "AOW! I'm only the most amazing, super-splendiferous cyborg this side o' the Grand Line! You're lookin' at the one and only FRRRRRANKY!"

Speedy? Oh she was speedy alright. Rainbow Dash hovered in mid air, putting a hoof to her chest even as she puffed it out, "Speedy? I'll have you know I'm the fastest flyer in Ponyville. Heh, probably even in all of Equestria." It wasn't bragging if it was the truth, right? Who else did anypony know who could perform a sonic rainboom?

Anyway, it looked like she wasn't the only one with an ego. This huge thing had a huge ego to match. She gave him a flat look, "Oh, trust me, I've seen awesome." Before she could say much else the thing was introducing himself anyway. Rainbow Dash had to admit, the star he made with his arms was pretty cool, not to mention his introduction period. Why didn't she have a cool introduction like that? Maybe she should work on that before joining the Wonderbolts. "Franky, huh. Well, I'll admit that was a pretty cool introduction, especially for something so weird looking."

She flew up again, adding a little mid-air flip, and perched atop the bean, "I'm Rainbow Dash."
