Jennifer left her room and locked the door, heading down to the lobby of the Blackstone dressed in jeans and a warm sweater, her coat over her arm in case the Winchesters wanted to go out to find some answers. She might have also been wearing a little make up, not that it was a crime for a woman to wear make up...
Sighing, she sat down in one of the chairs of the lobby, removing her glasses and rubbing the bridge of her nose. This was all she needed. One more mystery having to do with magic. Perfect. Just perfect.

"He's going to be a few minutes and then he'll be down. His shaggy hair takes forever to wash, loves those fancy shampoos."

Jennifer nodded and leaned back in her chair, settling her glasses back on her nose. "Any theories on what happened?"

Dean then shrugged, "Not really, other than some serious magic hoodoo or something seriously freaking powerful. Heard one of the guys talking about fighting ancient gods before I got here?"

"No, it's ok. Claire, right? How it's going?" He gave a tentative slight smile to reassure her.

Paranoia had crept in, and Spin was still groggily admonishing himself for letting himself fall asleep so long the night before. He knew he was probably being a bit silly, getting so worked up without any real reason to worry about anything wrong, but... oh god what was that noise.
The sound of a huge, warped melody sounded from down the hall, and it made Spin's skin crawl just to hear it. He pressed himself against the wall as it came closer, and it went through his mind that he should find someone who knew how these things worked, and if he was lucky he could get out of confronting it without getting in too much trouble...
The bearer of that noise came into view, and Spin jumped. "Kn-Knives?"

The warped sound was too distracting for him to even notice the flushed moment of awkward, but he did manage to hear what she said next. The agent stared a moment. "Wait, the hotel did what?"

Why had the Blackstone just disappeared like that? Apparently, another building had also vanished recently, though Ryou hadn't been aware of that until later, due to being unfamiliar with Chicago's cityscape. So what made the Blackstone come back? And could it happen again?
Ryou bit his lip, not liking the way this was shaping up. The situation brought up too many memories of waking up to find himself in an unfamiliar place and facing the aftermath of another one of the Spirit of the Ring's plans for his liking.

She couldn't worry about herself though. It just wasn't in her nature to. Still, if she'd been in here for a whole day she did feel the need to get out. She was crossing through the lobby when her ears perked up to a person's tune that sounded troubled. Starr spotted the other boy in the lobby easily enough and walked over to him instead, "Feeling a little worried about what happened?"

"Is it that obvious?" he asked with a sheepish laugh. "Then again, I think everyone here is, to some degree." He looked at the woman quizzically, wondering if she could be trusted. Ryou quickly discarded that notion, chalking it up to simple paranoia after what had happened.
"I don't believe we've met before, Miss. My name is Bakura, Bakura Ryou. What's yours?" he asked, standing up to shake her hand.

"I have a way of reading people...but I think everyone right now is worried," she said, reassuringly. "Sides, it's not always a bad thing to be easy to read." Unless you wanted to be the kind that kept secrets. Starr was pretty good at it herself considering she was supposed to be a secret agent.
She smiled, "Just call me Starr. It's nice to meet a new face, Bakura." It'd be good to make new friends, it'd probably help get her mind off the people she had lost. "Sorry if I startled you."
