He'd never admit it to anyone, but cold weather still fascinated J. He'd gone from far South to far West with very little in between, so anything below fifty degrees was still something of a novelty. That explained why, despite the danger, he was standing outside in a jacket, keeping a sharp ear out for anything out of the ordinary - of his ordinary, at least, which was usually pretty forgiving - and just enjoying himself.

His eyes snapped open as a new tune simply dropped into the Music. Sudden break-ins weren't how this worked - either his hearing was further off-kilter than he thought, or someone new had just arrived. Given he was only a few blocks from the Cloud Gate, that was definitely an option. He considered his options, shrugged, and headed towards the park. Might as well make sure the newcomer got off on the right foot, or as much as anyone could in this sort of place.

He paused - froze - as he got closer. He'd run into some pretty strange and scary things, but he'd never heard a tune drop into sheer fury so fast. The fact ( ... )

Continuing to examine his immediate surroundings, Terra found that on the ground near the bean was a small device that looked like a flat brick. Upon picking it up the object seemed to come to life and Terra realized it was a piece of technology unfamiliar to him. Odd, why was it just laying out on the ground like that?

Terra heard someone approaching and slipped the device into his pocket, near the Wayfinder, before turning to see who it could be. He wasn't sure he was ready for another fight, but thankfully this man didn't appear to be looking for one. No, he actually seemed concerned about him. Terra looked around once more before answering his question, "You could say that. If you can tell me what this place is called that would be a great start."

"City's called Chicago." At least the first questions were easy. "Whether it's the real thing or somebody's cheap knockoff is up for debate." J shrugged, giving the guy a quick once-over. That outfit didn't look like anything he'd ever seen. Probably pretty safe to guess that this guy wasn't from any version of Earth out there. Given the people he'd met in this city, that wasn't really surprising anymore. "I'm guessin' you just got here."

"Hm," Terra wasn't sure what J meant by "real" or "cheap knockoff." The world seemed real enough to him and even if it hadn't been real he was new to this place and would not be able to tell the difference.

Terra looked at J again and nodded, "Is it that obvious?" He knew he should be doing his best to blend in and keep the balance of the World orders, but he was starting to get the idea he wasn't the first to arrive like this. Terra dug into his pocket and pulled out the device he had picked up only moments ago, "Can you tell me what this is? I found it when I arrived."

If that statue ofwas the place where everyone was that was brought here showed up, then maybe one of Sora's friends would be brought here as well. So it certianly did hurt to look around.

While there was a guy in the park where the statue was, it wasn't anyone Sora knew... but, wait...

There was something naggingly famliar about him, though Sora just couldn't put his finger on why he was familiar. Just looking at this guy gave Sora a feeling of deja-vu. And that was a feeling he just couldn't ignore. So Sora ran up to him, maybe he'd remember where he knew him from.

"Uh, Hey!" Sora said cheerily, "Did you just get here?"

Terra found himself pausing and turning to examine the strange structure again. There was something a little strange about the way it twistedly reflected himself and the surrounding buildings. The biggest city he had ever seen was Radiant Garden, but even that place seemed quaint in comparison to his current surroundings. There had certainly been more beauty there, at least that was how he felt. He also didn't understand the several craters surrounding where he was. What had caused THOSE. He wasn't sure he wanted to know.

Terra noticed someone coming up behind him in the reflective surface of the bean. He turned around and for just the briefest of moments he thought he was looking at Ven. It wasn't Ven, but his feeling of knowing the boy didn't leave him. Terra was also not aware that the boy was having the same feeling. "Hello. Yes I'm a little new. What is this place?"

"I think it's called Chicago," Sora replied, "And we're all stuck here, but we're gonna find a way out." Sora sighed a bit, but then smiled at the man, there was no need to mope about it, and maybe he could cheer him up if he was feeling sad about being stuck here.

That deja-vu feeling just wasn't going away, though, and it was gonna drive him crazy if he didn't figure out who this guy was, maybe if he heard his name that would spark something.

"I'm Sora, by the way. What's your name?" He said as he put his hands behind his head and grinned some more.

"Chicago," Terra repeated, committing the name to memory. It was more information than he'd had five seconds ago. He had the feeling if he kept talking he would learn more as well. Hopefully. He raised an eyebrow when Sora said people were stuck here, "Are the people here not originally from this world? How did they travel here?" The only ways he knew were the Lanes Between...but to use those would mean having a keyblade right? The boy said they couldn't find a way out...so them being keyblade wielders couldn't be the case. If they had keyblades they could access the Lanes Between. Which, of course, brought him back to the question of how people arrived here. He couldn't ask these questions though and would just have to experiment for himself later by opening a portal ( ... )

Sailor Venus found herself returning to the bean nearly every day at least once... If it meant the possibility of her Princess showing up.. Or even any of the others. She wanted to be the first to greet them.

Orange heels clacking against the cement, she paused when she saw someone new by the bean. No one she had been looking for... But she couldn't very well leave him to figure things out on his own... A few steps closer, the Venusian senshi offered him a bright smile and wave her hand. "Hey... did you just arrive?"

Terra had started fiddling with the phone device at this point. There were a lot more people here than he had realized, all of whom were apparently trapped. He wanted to go out and find them but also didn't want to get lost. What if Ven or Aqua showed up here? He couldn't just leave even if he wanted the answers to his questions about this place.

He looked up and noticed a woman close to his own age coming up to him. Apparently a lot of people visited this bean thing, probably in hopes of seeing familiar faces as well. "Uhm...yes," he said, lowering the phone because it would be rude to talk to her while messing with it. "It must be pretty obvious. You're the third person to ask me that."

Venus continued to smile politely at him, though she couldn't help but laugh when he mentioned she was the third to ask. "I guess with as few of us as there are.... It's kind of obvious when a new person shows up."

Minako would handle this better... With a quick glance to each side, Venus de-henshinned and Minako stood in her place, still clad in orange. She took a few steps closer and held out her hand. "I'm Minako. Ah... so did the other two help you out at all?"

He was a little surprised by the magical transformation. In some ways it was similar to how his armor appeared and disappeared...but she hadn't exactly been wearing armor before. Still, the outfit she had been wearing previously definitely seemed magical and now she was wearing more regular clothes. Not that Terra could judge these sorts of things. He wasn't exactly used to Earth-wear.

He looked at her hand before taking it, deciding to be polite, "I'm Terra." He didn't hold it long though, he wasn't much of a hand shaker. "A little. They told me about this place and what was going on." Terra glanced back at the bean, "I was waiting here to see if anyone I knew showed up."
