Here's the 'normal' one... killswithclips August 25 2010, 02:41:52 UTC
Ziva had been spending most of her time exploring the city, still testing the limits of the fog barriers, and generally finding out the lay of the land. And by that, she was mapping where she could find any sort of weapons...like pawn shops, and other places that might not notice if their inventory got a little bit smaller overnight.

Not that she was that desperate already, but she was going to get to that point sometime, she knew.

Shoving her hands in her pockets, she continued down the street, glancing in the windows of the various buildings she passed, trying to figure out what was around this area. One shop caught her eye, and she crossed the street, not even caring to look, knowing that there was little to no traffic, unless Thomas was around again.

A chocolate shop? It had been a while since she had something sweet, and this seemed to be the perfect opportunity, she mused as she stood outside the window, trying to look like she belonged there, and probably failing.

She probably looked like she belonged more than Negi and Etna as they came upon the shop. Negi didn't mind helping Etna carry things of course, he had agreed to help her after all...even if that had been, at first, to just find a place for her to stay. So, while that had been awhile ago he didn't mind sticking around. There was something about Etna that reminded him of his students so he couldn't really walk away.

"First the place that sold just popcorn now a chocolate store. You must really like treats Beauty Queen Etna," he said as they approached. Negi wasn't big on sweets himself, though like most kids he did enjoy chocolate a lot. He noticed that there was another woman looking at the shop as well and smiled at her, "Hello."

"Of course I am!" Etna exclaimed with a cheery passion. "Sweets and diamonds are a girl's best friend." With the latter to be taken care of on her way out, of course. Even if it didn't look good, she could get some money out of it. She just needed to break Negi in a little more. A hero-type like him would probably have something to say about having to carry an armful of diamonds and other jewelry down the street. "It's not the kind I really like, but it'll do for now." She had already started making herself a good stash under the bed.

Etna looked up when Negi addressed someone nearby, and quickly recognized a familiar face. "Hey, you're that chick from the vampire attack." The woman had handled herself pretty well back there, really. Not bad for a human at all.

It took a moment for Ziva to realize that she was being spoken to, considering just a few minutes ago, there really hadn't been many people around. Looking over, she saw the redhead girl from the other night, the vampire attack night.

Turning from the window, she shrugged a bit. "My name is Ziva. I do not believe I caught your name the other night." She remembered that fight, and had a feeling this girl could be a good ally, or a horrible enemy. She hoped to keep her on her good side then.

And it seemed she had another friend. This one without the crazy tornado hairstyle of the guy from the other day.
