At 11:53 PM, I heard a really LOUD sound coming from outside, I can only barely describe how it sounded, but it started quietly and became loud enough to freak me out before fading quickly. Imagine watching the movie Twister during the F5 scene and holding the volume up button down until it maxes out. The only things I can think of is a wind micro-

So you heard it too? I thought plane at first but then wondered if my cats were standing on the remote for my receiver again and cranking up the volume but the receiver was off. By that point, my cats were running for all corners of the house and a second later the sound faded out quickly.

Welcome to the Convergence Zone. Bothell gets some mighty strange weather due to winds parted by the Olympic Mountains curling back around and crashing into each other.

We were on our way from Shari's (WA 527 @ 164th) to Everett at the time, but didn't hear anything unusual though.
