Hello all. It's my day at seasonal_spuffy, and I'm proud to be participating again. Thanks to enigmaticblues for organising this event and for ensuring the Spuffy!love continues. I had hoped to have more for you, but alas, it wasn't to be - so, a one-shot that I hope you enjoy.

Love the uplifting nature of this fic. Wish Buffy couldv've done more to make amends before the beacon of Spike-light we all witnessed in the Hellmouth. Plausible and a nice, soothing balm to the pain Spike and Buffy inflicted on each other in season 6. Thanks for a great read.

Thank you! I think this fic came out of a need to have things fixed between them. I am a slave to my muse usually, with nearly everything being a post-series story - I always have Buffy finding Spike or vice versa, and all is right with my world. So, this was a joy when it began to take shape as I realised it was PRE-finale, a rarity indeed in my head! So glad you enjoyed, and thank you again.

Fighting not only him but herself. And now that there was nothing left of her life but a handful of days, her end in the coming slaughter inevitable, the last vestiges of her self-imposed denial were fading away.

She melted against him, her arms wrapping around his neck, her lips finding his and electrifying him as she kissed him. Spike held her close and let all thoughts of what had been and what was to come fade away. It didn't matter. All that mattered was now. And now, right now, she was his.

Tomorrow might bring his destruction, but he was determined it wouldn't bring hers.

What a lovely FitB and what a great thought that they really said the things that needed to be said and had achieved peace and love.

Thank you so much. When they're lying on that cot together, Buffy stroking Spike's arm as he sleeps, I always wonder how they got there - so this is my contribution! I'm glad you think it worked, and thanks again. That's what's so great about seasonalspuffy - it gives you things to think about that push your muse into different directions. :)

Nicely done, and I like that it's Buffy who feels compelled to bridge the chasm between them. After this, there's no way Spike would stay in Los Angeles after being resurrected.

Thank you. I have this - well, kink I suppose - where I ALWAYS want Buffy to make the first move. And I agree so much! Spike, IMHO, would NEVER give up on her. Ah, our Spuffy hearts beat only for them. *sigh* Thanks again :)

Thank you! My Buffy is probably a little tinged with my own feelings, and I so want Buffy and Spike to be together that I always manage to get them there :) Thank you for your lovely words.
