A very sad start, seeing Buffy confident - and happy - enough to marry someone else that isn't Spike who must regret to let it come so far now.
And Giles is making decisions for Buffy again... he's neither her father nor God to take it out of her hands. Spike is right, letting Buffy decide would have been the right thing.
As you can guess I'm not really liking Giles here.

I'm sorry for being sad, but I can fix it :) I think Giles means well, but he just won't let go...or will he ;) Yeah, I get that you don't like Giles, but then, it makes me glad - because I didn't mean you to. Thanks so much, as always, for your very insightful comments. It's people like you who give so much in time, effort and enthusiasm who keep this fandom alive. *hugs*
