Ooomph! I feel punched in the gut, in the best of possible ways. That scene had so much potential, and you just helped it to realize one of them!

The best part of the revenge is that Xander and Buffy rely on thier demonic SO's love, even if they won't admit it.

One small error, it should be avenged not revenged.

Indeed. Buffy especially, I think. If that weren't true, it wouldn't really be revenge.

To "be revenged" is "chiefly archaic poetic/literary", true. (You'll find it in Hamlet.) But I decided that since Anya is chiefly archaic, and a professional in the realm of vengeance, she could use it. :)
