My brother B is a student at Virginia Tech and he and his crew went down to Miami for the Orange Bowl game against the KU Jayhawks. Since we don't have TV, I looked for a way to keep tabs on the game online without getting jumbled up in the jargon. I started following the big games in this way earlier this season. The annual Kessler Christmas Party was scheduled for 6p Dec. 15 at the Nashville Fire Hall in Spring Grove, PA. The weather was forecasted to be freezing rain and snow. I can’t argue with dreams. I never could. For several mornings here of late, I’ve woken with a heavy hollow in my heart. I quickly get my day started and fill the void with tasks, projects and plans. I think this was a near perfect weekend for the family. The weather was a little hot but the occasional breeze made it okay. Saturday, we took in the sights and shops at Dana Park Village, stealing a moment at every fountain before and after stopping in at the bookstore.
