I had trouble sleeping. I woke at 2:49 and something was leaning against me. I was about to shove Bill when I heard “brrrrr.” It was a cat. So, provided all things go well, we're going to have a baby in the fall. The news was confirmed yesterday. This morning Bill learned he'll be getting a raise and a bonus. Lest I judge too hastily, I do think the universe may be cheering us on.

Sleeping in the bed became too painful so I’m now out on the couch - which we’ve set up to accommodate my body’s “growing” needs. It has made a tremendous difference to sleep sitting up - I can actually move now without crying or wincing ( Read more... )
