I decided today that I'm not going to let some Pilgrims tell me what to eat for dinner, so I didn't have Turkey, but had lasagna instead.  Oh the joys of going out to fancy restaurants rather than sitting at home watching the family fuss over a dead bird.  However, this isn't the first year I've been defiant.  Here's a history of me telling ( Read more... )

I don't think the tradition was turkey to begin with for thanksgiving. Sometimes we go with the ham instead. The point is we still get school off, and a very good meal out of the deal.
