1. Doctor's also book appointments because then they can bill for them. They can't bill (as much) for phone calls. He would also call you if you had an asthma thing going on because that is also Not Good (and doesn't rhyme with "dancer")

2. Hey! Since when can you not call me? My phone works, I don't talk about God, and we've been friends for a number that is too large to actually write down. You might feel awkward about it, but I'd be fine. Even honoured. I bet Ian will be similarly annoyed.

3. You can also call the doctor's office and ask them to fit you in because it's really important. And/or ask the doctor to phone you back. Push a little so you don't have another crapola night.

Fingers and toes are crossed that it's not a big Not Good, but just a little not good that you already pretty much know about. He'll give you a new puffer, patronize you about your weight again, and you'll go get a donut.

I didn't say I couldn't call people because they did not want me to call them. I said that I cannot call people and cry on their shoulders. I am not built that way.

A new puffer would be good.

It's the apparent urgency that has me concerned.
