Last night I was waiting for my subway at College Station, just past 5pm. We were standing about eight-deep to the platform's edge, and as the train rolled up, we could see that it was packed to the gills. That almost identical thing happened to me on an airplane.

100 people patiently waiting for turn to exit a hot A/C-less plane, being very good and not crowding each other.

She has a baby strapped to her chest and she pulls a Herbie the Lovebug maneuver, slaloming half the length of the plane, pushing past people.

If her baby were sweating or sick or crying, I could understand. The thing was blissfully asleep for Pete's Sake!
