More Joy Day - Askers & Givers post
People, More Joy Day is TOMORROW! Augh! How is it already January 8th? I don't even have a birthday card for AHH yet.
But remember: More Joy Day is not about Big Splashy Actions but rather the small, yet still significant ways that we can add a small pinch of happiness to someone's life.
This is the Askers & Givers post that I did last year, based off of one of the entries for the Fandom Snowflake Challenge last year.
This post is for you to leave a comment with a list (or both!) of three fannish or non-fannish requests you'd like to have filled. Maybe you'd like a letter in the mail. Maybe you'd like a person to send a letter to! A ficlet. An icon. A recipe for the bok choy you got from the CSA box that you have no idea how to cook (...ahem).
And for those of you who need it, you can also ask for more serious help - maybe you can't make a bill you need to pay this month and a little money would help. If you're not comfortable doing that publicly, you can make an anonymous request and if someone wants to help, they can comment to you saying you should email them at whatever address they leave.
So this is your space to think of things that you might want and find possible ideas of things to do for others! No pressure! Just have fun. :)
