It's an excellent show but requires a huge commitment of attention. No slacking while watching, that's for sure!

Seen over on tumblr earlier: "i think i can officially say that the wire is the best television show i have ever watched. and this is coming from someone who’s seen every episode of prison break."

Having also seen both of those shows, all I can do is giggle helplessly. (I also want to make an icon that says, "Prison Break: It's Almost As Good As The Wire!" or something.
That is...well, I don't even know what to say. Has this person only watched two television shows ever?

Are you kidding - seasons 3 and 4 are my FAVORITES. Hee. I frigging love that show; but quality-wise, it's no The Wire.

I actually, hilariously, do have a sequel of sorts vid idea for "Cold Cold Water" that would be the rest of Starbuck's time on BSG, but I just haven't gotten anywhere near okay enough with BSG to think about it lately.
You ever make it, you know I'm there. :-) But I understand the not-okayness. I haven't watched BSG in a looooong while.

Wire vid first! And someday, that Kara vid, because seriously the song is SO PERFECT. Every time it comes up on my vidsong playlist I lament my feelings for BSG.
