Oh, right, it's my every-two-months "I'm sick of all things Internet-related" mental downshift, where I spend a lot of time reading and not very much time participating. My mood will swing back around again, but until then, some output:

Unless I know you love Babs exactly as much as I do, and then you can hash out some of her imperfections. Otherwise, BACK OFF. HA. I feel this way about Babs and Vecchio, too! And Sam Winchester. And Temperance Brennan. And... that's all I can think of at the moment ( ... )

if it were not for this glass you would be less than one bite for me
HEE. But, yes, terrifying AND hilarious all at once!
I used to feel totally over-protective of Sam, but then the show itself made me so angry I lost some of my feeling for the characters. /o\
LJ is my falling-behind site right now. I do a LOT of skimming of all three, though. I had to give up Twitter entirely. Heh.

who is probably at this point frantic with worry that his little brother is nowhere to be found
I don't know if I totally buy that; he seems altogether too calm and deliberate to be frantic about Tyrion. And I suspect he doesn't think Catelyn would actually HARM Tyrion. I could see him being ANGRY about Tyrion and so not being in his right mind because of that, but frantic implies (to me) I should have a shot of sympathy for him for his actions (or at least more understanding) and I can't give him that here.
I agree that Lysa and Cat are also assholes about the Tyrion thing! Though Tyrion does not endear himself to me AT ALL in those pages; he's fighting for his life but he's also being so stupidly obnoxious about it at times, too. Which he at least recognizes.
