I love Hulu. Today I'm watching Ghostbusters while I get some stuff done around the house. This movie is so quotable ( Read more... )

politics is fat and ugly, like the internet but in person, supernatural, movies, linky mclinkerston, the office, the middleman

Woo, Ghostbusters!

I'm glad you're liking The Middleman more now! For all those reasons.

The Office was great, and I don't think Jan had good intentions.

Supernatural was good stuff.

I love The Time Traveler's Wife.

I really hope Jan had good intentions, otherwise, that's extremely lame. But at least Michael didn't let her dictate what to do.

Ghostbusters is one of the best movies in the history of ever ever ever.

"...There is only Zul."

It's a very happy place to be. I remember when word came out that the movie was being made, some serious SNL squeeing of the first four years kind occurred.

That was an adorable baby but, wow, extremely unkind, Jan, to ask Michael not to date Holly. Having said that, though, I wonder if Jan did that on purpose? Knowing that was the way to make Michael ask Holly? I mean, I wonder if Jan would be happier with Michael focused on someone else? Am I being too nice to Jan?
Yeah, my first reaction was 'holy shit, Jan, you're a real bitch!', but then I thought about it some more and it's perfectly possible she told him not to date Holly on purpose. I mean, they were together for quite some time, she must know how Michael Scott operates by now. Anyway, the Michael/Holly hug made me a bit melty. Especially since he didn't screw it up! :D

I don't know if this counts as political or not, but here's Amy Poehler's Sarah Palin rap from last night's SNL. It's hysterical, and I have to give Palin credit for participation.
Ahahaha, that was fucking hilarious! Also, Palin looks A LOT like Tina Fey. A LOT. (Also, as someone noted, Palin really toned town her folksy accent during her SNL appearance.)

Yeah I'm mostly just glad Michael didn't listen to Jan, whether she meant it or not. I looooove Michael/Holly!

Palin looks A LOT like Tina Fey

I know! It's crazy.

And her accent was toned down, wasn't it? Interesting.
