I've decided that there will be no Vividcon report from me this year. First, I didn't really take any notes, so I've forgotten all of the important stuff anyway. I've noticed his walk, too! Extremely predatory.

We're 8 eps into the series now and I'm confused; I can't tell why he sometimes lies and sometimes sort of tells the truth. It's been fun.

I just started watching Invasion too (it is all sol_se's fault), the pilot didn't work for me when it originally aired, but I am intrigued this time around.

I'm sad that I won't get to read your VVC reaction post this year, but the important thing is that you had a great time! \o/ And I just read the nominees for the Emmy's... wow, is that ever a sorry list.

Yeah, the Emmy's were just kind of sad this year. Ah, well.

I'm enjoying Invasion! It's not the best tv ever, but it's keeping me entertained and I like the characters. :)

I've decided to DVR the Emmys this year. I only care about a few categories and if the people I want to win win then I can watch their acceptance speeches tomorrow. :)

Yay Invasion! I had the same concerns before watching it as you did. I'm actually fond of Kira, even though I expected to hate her. Larkin's the one that pisses me off.

Kira's growing on me now that we've seen more episodes, but she's still by far my least favorite character. I still like Larkin for some reason, even though Spunky Girl Reporter stereotypes usually tend to rub me entirely the wrong way. Heh.

My problem with Larkin is that she never shuts up about the fact that she's pregnant. We get it, already. Yes, poor you.

Yes, that's true. I think that's an unfortunate side effect of a new show having to re-establish itself for the first five episodes. Like the repeated explanation of what an EBE is. WE KNOW, YOU GUYS. But new viewers wouldn't, you know? It's annoying, though.
