Hi LJ, I'm back from vacation! Not that anyone is around on a Saturday morning, but whatever. Heh. We had a fantastic time (after a fairly awful start) and I now want to take up kayaking as a hobby. I can't wait to get my pictures back from that; we were mere feet from orcas. I am way behind on LJ although I did somehow find myself signing up

As for more F/V fic there is one more story to come for fraser_vecchio. It's a pinch hit and I know it will posted soonish because I am editing it as I type ;-)

I was very much in squee mode all over the new fic last week and read it all in erm...the weekend.

Alpaca's have such wonderful hair. The bangs in particular.

And that lighthouse looks almost like a church.

And I'm pleased to hear there's another fic coming! Hee. I couldn't believe how quickly I gobbled up what was posted, but it was really fabulous to have so much new F/V to read. I mean, I still have lots of F/V stories that I haven't read, but there's nothing like new fic, and I've read all (I think) of the "classic" F/V stories.

I know what you mean. I have read pretty much every fic out there so it was nice to get some fresh stuff wich didn't last long at all. Literally it would be a 'drop everything and read new fic' moment.

I didn't say I completely lost my mind! I've actually come across a few more L/L shippers recently. :) Too bad Ron will probably go with the utterly predictable L/K and A/R ships down the road. Unless he kills a couple of them off first. :p

Hee! I wish, but I have to travel for work again next week. (So, not this coming week but the one after.) I would love to be home for a whole month. It would be crazy! Thanks though. :)

I'm glad your trip was so good. I have a friend who goes up to the San Juans every year, and she always rhapsodizes about her trips. Now I see why. (Plus: llama llama llama...okay, alpaca...)

I tried kayaking for the first time a few weeks ago in Tahoe -- it's *hard*. But I could see getting a taste for it. You're so close to things. The water is *right there*.

Thank you! Isn't the wolf adorable? omg, I love this header so much, I may never change it. It's like a snapshot of fannish me. Except now I need a kayak in the corner. Our sea kayaking experience is one of the best experiences I've ever had. It was amazing. Really amazing. And there are so many perfect lakes and rivers and bays in the northwest, too.

This was my first time to the San Juans and it was amazing. Three days was the perfect time for us to stay because the island really is not that big and the weather was cool and rainy one day. They have a winery, too, and we got a bottle of the local white. :)

(I almost bought an alpaca finger puppet for VVC but it felt like cheating to have an alpaca and not a llama. Hee.)

Now! The first episode of Veronica Mars season 3 will stream over MSN on Tuesday, and you still haven't watched season 1! You have been spoiled for the ending, you have watched vids that you were not suppose to, and you have been to an Alpaca farm (you'll totally understand why I mentioned that by the middle of S1). I think that it is time that you watched the show!

... don't force me to recruit the VM watching portion of your F-list into an elaborate campaign to pic-spam and harass you!

HEE. I was very bad about Season 1, BUT I have stayed clean for Season 2, so there is that going for me. I will not force you to start a campaign, I promise. (I still haven't watched Season 3 of Deadwood yet, if it's any consolation, and that whole season has finished already!)

I do feel a bit better... but STILL! Deadwood has had to wait a few weeks, whereas, VM has had to wait YEARS!
