I should have more to say as I had a really fun, fantastic weekend and I enjoyed BSG and I am still working on the COB/CCW commentary, but I have to finish the farscape_weekly update for the week and the government has made me tired, so this is what you get. Oh, and Joss posted on Whedonesque.

My Frankenstein Mix, made for calikali's Frankenstein Mix Meme.

I was never a huge Nirvana fan, but 'Sliver' is my favorite song of theirs too. :) And I downloaded it in 10 seconds. Wheeeeee!!!

Grabbed #8 - and you're right. It is better than the original! :)

. How do you compete with Shatner?

IT IS UNPOSSIBLE.

And, man, I freaking love this whole album.

Me too! Well, except Chemical Smile which I always skip. But 1 skipper out of 14 tracks is pretty damn good.

A secret? I wrote a short story based on this song once. And then burned it, but still. Hee

LOL. I won't tell anyone. You can hardly be blamed really. That song completely reeks of awesomeness, as the boys used to say. I always have to fight the urge to stick it on my fanmixes.

Gil Meche out indefinitely with a strained oblique. GOOD TIMES.

I caught bits of that Mets/PR game yesterday, too--very fun. Hopefully Joel won't, like, break his arm in his start. When Kevin Appier and Jesse Foppert are your potential saviors? Scary.

This has been your random baseball drive-by for the day.

LMAO. You're awful. I was talking to a friend in Pittsburgh, and she was telling me Redman's out indefinitely with torn cartilage in his knee. She goes, "I hope the Royals recognize a godsend when it gets dropped in their otherwise godforsaken laps." :-P

I watched that too! And I'm ridiculously primed for tomorrow's real WBC games.

**knock on wood** :-P Was Pineiro your guy who tested positive for a banned substance? (lol, one of your guys who tested positive) I don't know what you're so worried about - you have CARL EVERETT. Cure-all, if ever I saw one :-P Didn't you see what magic he worked in Chicago? ^_~

Hee! I was actually being sarcastic about Meche. Our rotation is shaky enough, and he has been among the shakiest, but there was hope that, coming back at full strength this year, he might actually be able to contribute again. His story with the M's has been a very long one, and they've invested a lot of time and money in him; I was hoping to see that pan out. And it's obviously not a done deal, but oblique injuries can really linger, so it's really going to set him back, I think.

I'm ridiculously primed for tomorrow's real WBC games.Me too! I mean, c'mon! Real baseball! In March! What's gonna be wrong with that?! That was actually one thing that bugged me about the Mets/PR game yesterday; when the announcers weren't talking about how little anyone cared about the WBC, they were saying that we should care about it because it gives us the opportunity to see players from US teams play with and against each other in different combinations. Uh... OK. And also because there are a lot of excellent players not currently playing ( ... )

Well done, you! I totally failed in my intention to get these together this weekend.

Mark Geary! I didn't think of him. I might go with Redbird--hee.

I can hook you up with Don Henley's "Boys of Summer" if you want. (It's still my favorite.)

What are you cooking? Huh? Huh? *bounces* Is there chicken? I bet there's chicken. We're having leftovers tonight, and saving the meatloaf for tomorrow. YAY.

Thank you, thank you.

I might go with Redbird

Do it! Doooo it!

We did, indeed, have chicken last night. The mango salsa chicken with jalapeno cheddar mashed potatoes! It was yummy! The house still stands! I consider it a success.

And I'd love to have Don Henley's "Boys of Summer." I was shocked that I didn't, actually. It's such a Californian song.

Aerosmith - Love In An Elevator

LMAO. I got stuck in the elevator a few days ago, and that song immediately came to mind. After I managed to calm down, that is, because I'm slightly claustrophobic.

Yikes, that would not be fun. I bet that song would get stuck in my head in that situation, too, though. Hee.
