Hey, I have a curious question for my bi/gay/les/TG friends and readers. When did you start noticing the same sex as - well...interesting

It sounds like you want to approach it from an emotionally sheltering aspect. Each girl feels safe around the other, so you might want to focus on that, rather than anything sexual.

Focus on how they feel around one another, instead of how beautiful each finds the other.

Thanks stud. Actually that's a good idea. When I was gone after writing this, I was batting around time periods and after some consideration, I thought the years right after the nuclear war (around the 2400-2420) when humanity and zomorphs was without modern convinces. I see them at a 17th or so century level at the time. That time would be good for several reasons; medical, technology, and a more tight-knit community (Little house on the praire meets zomorphs :).

[laughs] Now I think of it, wouldn't it be neat to have one of the girls named 'Laura'? :)

But yes, NO SEX :).

I accually have a working outline already but I'll read it again in a couple of days to see how it feels then.

That honestly really helps, thanks. I'm starting to see that puberty may be the start, especially with my own experiences. Also what you wrote as a TG/TS helps too. That's a unique aspect that may help the story a lot.

I guess I had gay fantasies, usually being used by a group of older men. I was at boarding school and used to think about my roommate. This would have been about the age of 16/17, but I was a late developer for medical reasons.

My first crush wasn't until university, aged 19 or so. And after losing my virginity to a woman.

Hmms Ok, you kind of said that it starts around puberty, but that could be late, or early. I know I've read about 9 year old girls getting pregnant, and how development seems to be happening /too early in some cultures/ (I'm hearing /*5 year olds developing breasts!*/)

Also it seems you said that culture and environment can help influence this too (or at least in your case). I can't debate the "born gay or born hetero" simply because I don't have enough data of course. But if it's true we're born bisexual, then culture and environment can help too. Hmmm...

It was a little after puberty I guess. During and before puberty I was saw normal hetero porn. Though it was a mostly boy boarding school, it was pretty homophobic.

Ahh, then intelligence has a role in this as well. That's sort of how mine came about. Although I had desires for Freddy, I had to think though my own 'programming' society does. It wasn't till I got on FurryMUCK, I actually started to accept that I was bisexual (I was about...28 or so then). Thanks for the help. That really adds legitimacy to my assertions about my characters now. I'll post on FM when the story is posted somewhere so you can take a look.

I wasn't interested in sex at all until probably about half-way through 13 years of age, when my hormones began to kick in. I remember that my friend and I met when I was in grade 7, and I would have been 12 at the time. In those early years, sex was the last thing on our minds. Four years later though, was another story. While I never did have a sexual encounter with this particular friend, it was certainly not for a lack of desire on my part. There just wasn't any way (that I knew of) to broach the subject without the possibility of very bad repercussions, so I kept my desires to myself. That didn't stop me from doing a lot of private fantasizing though! We used to have a lot of "sleep-overs", and though I never saw him naked, I saw him in his underwear often enough to know that he was particularly well-endowed

You brought back surprising memories too, and why I too am a size queen at times. But lets face it. Stallions are not only beautiful, but they have this /air/ around them of power, grace, charm. I can't help but to feel humbled by them at times :).

I'm getting more and more of an understanding on my character's feelings now, what she's going though as well. I'm still having to figure out how the society is at this time since this is one time era I havent' explored at all. I'm looking forward to it now.

Thanks Hay. I'm starting to see that puberty is when this happens. Another friend said they was around 11 or 12 when it started with him. I'm thinking too, that 7th grade was about the time Freddy started coming into my thoughts :), although it could have been a year or two earlier too. I was a stubborn, pig-headed colt back then (and still am ;), and I didn't think it was wrong, I was just confused. That helps the POV character, if I think of her in that reguard :).
