So... This year I am attempting to actually have a costume that isn't fuzzy.

If you hadn't already ordered a wig, I would have said to get a short wig and extensions in the same color. However, the Tina is pretty thick, so you should be ok. Get yourself a razor hair comb (~$5 at any wig shop, maybe sold at beauty supply places too?). Pad the wighead with bubblewrap and tape so that it's as big as your head + all your hair under the wigcap, otherwise you'll find out later that you cut everything too short. Uh. Call me if you need help--this'll be easier to talk through on the phone, same with the shoe covers. Pick a stretchy fabric.

PVC pipe will be a good base for the oar. You could even use cardboard for the head, and masking tape to hold it together (you can paint over both easily with acrylic).
