Being sick blows

May 08, 2007 18:30

I think I caught it from someone at Beltane.

101.1 temp, finally got it to break this morning. My wonderful, die-hard coworker stayed all day yesterday (12 1/2 hours!) so I could stay home and sleep. Took a half day today. Going to try a full day tomorrow.

Flu blows.

But, I'd prefer this over a shot :P

Being sick blows. I've been a bit ill myself since we went clubbing saturday night.

Icky. Well, don't catch it if you can help it!

By the way, always see you mentioned in other journals, never really found out who this is. Who are ya, now that you found me? :)

Get well soon!

Tip: Gargle whiskey.
(if tummy upset, do not swallow gargled whiskey)

If you can stand the taste of whiskey, bleh!

Garlic and echinacea for me :)

Sissy garlic. SURE it makes your immune system stronger, but Whiskey (or similar) is the Mammoth Tax Hike to Garlic's 10-year Budget Resolution.

You aren't the only one.... I started coughing Sunday, and stayed home monday. Carla sounds better, but was sure sounding like a lifetime chainsmoker for a couple of days.
Lucky me, no fever.

Unfortunately, Grant started coughing last night... Lets home Alicia misses this one.

Yeah, hopefully the wee one escapes. I'm thinking, from what the news has been saying, it's that damn norovirus. A family I know got hit with it a month ago, same symptoms & severity, but at least it's over fairly quickly.
