Let's recap, shall we?

Cooperstown and Rochester were lovely! We also drove up to Niagara and I saw the falls for the first time! We played at Dave and Busters and went to Nightmare Fear Factory which is on a few "top Haunted Houses" lists (it was terrifying, actually, so yeah, well deserved). Pictures are forthcoming as I know there were a few of you wanted to see some ( Read more... )

RE: Sherlock. You know, I thought the list of friends was a bit odd, because Sherlock names the three people that Jim conveniently is planning to kill. I mean, what if he'd added Molly and Mycroft to the list? Okay, obviously having three out of five friends killed is still pretty bad, but it wouldn't be so nice and neat.

Man, a year and a half (or so) of theorising coming up...

There was another thing I noticed, that the man who is at Mrs. Hudson's wasn't ON Mycroft's killer list, so was he there to protect her?

The cyclist who mowed John down obviously had something to do with it because Sherlock was SO INTENT on John believing him dead. Molly must have gotten the hospital staff that took him in in on the plan as well.

Though, when we go back and look at "The Great Game" there's really no way we can anticipate what has happened to Sherlock. I mean really, did anyone see "Staying Alive" and all of that coming? No. We all thought the bomb went off, so... yeah.

I know, it's so shitty, having to wait a whole year for the resolution to this.

Yep... and although hopefully Moffat et al have a definite resolution, there's nothing to stop them really going "oh, okay, everyone's figured out what we were going to do... so we'll make up something else".

I just dug out my complete Sherlock Holmes collection. Maybe I'll find inspiration in there.

Oh my god, if they think like that...

Wait... OF COURSE THEY THINK LIKE THAT! Who am I kidding?

I totally agree about the show wrapping things up too neatly, but it does so much else so well that I can hand-wave pretty easily, lol. I was worried they'd turn Elizabeth into a damsel in distress and was SO happy that didn't happen. I was kind of bothered by Mozzie letting Neal take the fall, though. But OMG, when Peter asked Neal why he didn't leave and Neal was all, "You......" my shipper heart about exploded. And man, angry!Peter = hoooooooooooooot.

I wasn't so much worried that El would be a damsel in distress as they would milk the fact that Peter has taught her a lot of "covert ops" over the years but I thought they played that very well.

I KNOW! OMG! THOSE TWO! You know he's not going to leave, you KNOW IT.

Also, did you see Sherlock orrrrrr...?

I do wish they'd been able to wrap up Keller's storyline permanently though...I just feel like it's time for a new adversary.

I haven't seen Sherlock yet...I guess I'm gonna have to wait for it to come out on Netflix at this point. I'm pretty obsessed with Downton Abbey right now though...and forcing myself to watch as it airs on PBS to give myself something to look forward to each week.

Isn't Cooperstown just the cutest little town?

It was totally adorable. We walked around on Saturday, went to Double Day field and ate at Double Day cafe and it was so picturesque and lovely and covered in freshly-fallen snow. A really darling place.

Also, the guides at the HoF were SO, SO NICE!

I was there in summer, but I'd imagine it's really cute in winter.

My first thought was that he asked for Molly's help. But the slowed heartbeat toxin idea is a good one, too. Questions, questions, gotta keep us guessing!

I completely didn't realize White Collar was back last night, and it makes me a little sad that I'm not in that big of a rush to watch the episode. But then again, I've always enjoyed White Collar, but it's never been absolute must-see TV for me. I usually watch the next day/over the next few days. But I like everyone's face on that show, so I should catch up.
