Good luck on your carbs venture! I wish I was strong enough to put away the cereal... and pasta... and generally potato-based foods...

So. SVU. Cracky season, or the crackiest season?

I'm already doing well! Eating lotsa protein rich foods, and veggies up the wazoo!

Uhm, I don't even know what's going on with SVU I'm actually contemplating not watching any longer.

Woo, keep going! You can do it!! :)

Oh but you can't stop now... you don't want to miss Olivia inevitably becoming a looser cannon and asking Elliot for donor sperm, right?

I've had similar thoughts about the gluten thing lately, especially post-Thanksgiving. I just have no idea what in the world I'd replace beer with. Either way, I'm rooting for you. Good luck. :)

I just need to quit drinking all around, it's just not healthy. I drink too much, too often.

And I've got such a beer gut and it's so very unattractive.

Thanks, we'll see how this goes!

Ha! I was just about to say that G and I have been talking about this very thing (cutting back on gluten, that is), and I see that he's beaten me to it. I'm not sure I can stand to live in this world without beer, but I am all for giving a lower-gluten diet a go. My friend Jenny swears by how much better she feels, and while she is legitimately a celiac person, I still believe there are benefits for everyone. I similarly worry about crazy moodswings and foul moods in general, though. Am I addicted to wheat? Probably. It will be interesting to really see in black and white if it changes significantly how you feel in both short and longterm. At any rate, good luck in your quest!

Yeah, and this is probably the wrong time to cut back on my coffee intake too... hmmm.

Thanks for the luck! I'll need it!
