My very favorite of all the things I love about this fic is how you took a prompt that was all Sam-n-Jess, at Stanford, and you made it all about the mytharc! And I loved Dean in it - the Dean in Sam's subconscious and the Dean in person! Dean is a part of who Sam is, and a story without Dean's presence or influence isn't really a story about the Sam I love. So - you rocked this!

That's an awesome compliment. Thank you. It's funny how a story develops; I didn't set out to make this a part of the mytharc but the more research I did, the more the pieces seem to fit. So I went there! I love writing Jess and exploring that part of Sam's life - but Dean's just too much fun to play with not to get him involved somehow. *g* Big hug and thanks.

Awesome. I love stories in which Sam has to deal with supernatural stuff in Stanford. This was particularly great because it has Jess being awesome and Sam and Dean sharing a *~spechial bond~* and Brady and Azazel. Just cool.

Thanks VK. Sam may have been ready to let go of the hunting world at Stanford, but IMHO it wasn't to let go of him.*g* I, too, love the idea of him facing off against supernatural threats when surrounded by the normalcy of school. Such is the life of a Winchester, right?

Love that. Dean being there for Sam even when he isn't there.

I enjoyed Jess in this. You rounded her out well into a great match for Sam. I also enjoyed the Native American lore meshed with the demon arc.

But most esp. how Dean came, took care of the skinwalker. And he's also so silly, not wanting Sam to know he was there, but kind a does since he left the magazine.

Awesome fic.

Thanks so much. Those Winchesters are a stubborn bunch, aren't they? Wouldn't you like to be there to give Dean a shove, saying, "Go talk to brother already!" Just think how much grief they could have avoided over 5-1/2 seasons if they did that. But then...what would we write fic about??? *g*

I love exploring Sam and Jess's relationship so this was a fun one to write; and doing research on Stanford makes me want to enrol there!

As for the magazine, well... *g* It seemed like a Dean thing to do.

I love playing with the bond the brothers' share, and this was a perfect way to get Dean into the story but stay within canon parameters.
