I loved the lore in this! The Navajo prayer is beautiful. This had a wonderful dreamlike quality to it- the coral tree, dream Dean, real Dean, all of it weaving around in a very cool story. Excellent!

Thank you so much. The more research I did on the lore, the more fascinated I was. All Dogs Go To Heaven really didn't do justice to the skinwalker as a MOTW. Let's hope they revisit it and bring in some of the really scary aspects of the lore.

The prayer was beautiful, wasn't it? And the sap in me likes the idea of those words being the means to defeat evil.

Oh, I adore how Sam's consciousness conjured up Dean to help guide his way through the curse and absolutely adore how Dean really shows up to take care of the skinwalker.

I've always loved the connection the brothers share and it makes sense to me that, subconsciously, Sam would tap into that when he was separated from Dean and in trouble. That's what I tried to play with here.

And we all know that Dean's protective streak when it comes to Sam is a milewide. I pity any MOTW who goes after Sam when big brother's around. They don't stand a chance. *g*
