For the first time ever, I actually got robbed.

As my buddy sabotlours mentioned, we had just gotten off the Eurostar at "Gard du Nord" station, and got on a very very crowded Metro train to head to our hotel.  I was crammed between a couple of Africans, who I thought looked suspicious, so I was trying to cover my pockets, anticipating a pickpocket attempt.  And sure enough. BIIIIIIXXXX NOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Damn Scritch! Fuuuuuuc! And we were talking about that yesterday dealing with the insane crowds at the Changing of the guard, even Judy Hopps was telling everybody to watch yourselves.

That was one of my biggest worries about the trip. I actually got and used a money belt for most of the time, and I was constantly on Al's case to watch himself. Before leaving, I even took a picture of everything in my wallet to reference in case it went missing.

Major suckage, though, and I hope it's not too hard to get past the disruption.
