It's about time I made a post. I've been rather heavily occupied since AC, and haven't really had the time of motivation to post. Sorry I've been such a stranger.

Chinese or Siberian Elms, I assume.

"Tingley's Curse", landscapers call 'em, after Mayor Tingley who planted 'em en masse in the Bosque 'cause they grew fast and gave good shade within just a few years.

Fuckin' Tingley never had to deal with the seeds. Or the leaves. Or the fragile, shedding branches. Or Dutch elm-leaf beetle. Or the roots digging into the sewers. Lucky him. Fuckin' Tingley. Beach named after him or no, he's just a damned annoying tree to me.

Terrible invasive species.
