When you meet someone new, do you ever just want to say, "I'm not usually this ugly. Really. This is just a temporary thing."

::sigh::

Strangely, my supposed ugliness isn't getting me down. It just makes me have less faith in finding a boy.

I'm trying really hard to not feel shallow for this post.

::double sigh::

ugly, body image, boys

Oh my god, I actually fell off of my chair when I read that, I was laughing so hard!! I THINK THAT ALL THE TIME!! :P Sometimes I wake up like 5 minutes before my class and stagger out with my hair sticking in nine different directions, sweatpants, baggy t-shirt no bra and combat boots...and of course, run into someone really gorgeous and interesting and have a great conversation; the whole time just dying to say "really, I just woke up. honestly, I'm normally this horrific. Please believe me."

Ah, good times. Its not shallow dude, its normal. :)

HA! So true. Why is it that the really pretty people you really want to impress always show up when you're not looking up to par?

We all need t-shirts that say, "Honest to god, usually I'm stunning."

Most people, though, seriously don't even notice all those terrible things that are wrong (the monstrous zit, the cowlick, the lack of bra, the giant hole in your shirt...) especially if they are so incredibly taken by the words that come out of your mouth. I count on that.

Yes, I've so thought that before. It's really nice to know I'm not the only one who has!

hahahaha oh my god yes! Always, always when I meet a cute man I look like walking death. And whenever I see this one friend of mine. She's gorgeous and whenever we run into each other it's always after I stayed up all night or skipped my shower or lost my toothbrush and I have always kinda wanted to send her an e-mail saying, "Hey, here are some photos of me on days when we don't see each other. Just so you know."

... oh yes I have thought that! I met someone special to me at a key "g-d my life just came fucking APART" moment in my life, and I felt like I had to explain myself a lot! really, I am not normally this crazy.
