And you are so close to the sea anyway!

You know, I never ever go there. Dutch beaches are either too cold, or too crowded. Though about once a year, I'll visit one of the Wadden islands. Usually Schiermonnikoog, but as it happens, today we went to the German island of Borkum. Of course, on the islands the beaches are so ridiculously wide that it takes half an hour of walking from the dunes to the water...
