Well, it’s far from done, but lookee here!

Once I figured out at which end to start with the design of my fanfic archives and what the best method for me was (Photoshop first? HTML? CSS? Too many files! Not a big enough screen!), I did make quite a lot of progress today.

Not quite so bare bones any more, is it?

Thanks! I was surprised at how easy it was to get from that bare bones look to this. Of course, it still needs a lot of fine-tuning, but it's a start.

And I think I managed to get most issues resolved in IE as well. At least in 7. I took a peek today in IE6, and I think that's beyond hope. In either case, nobody should be allowed to use that piece of garbage any longer, so if they do and the archive looks funny? Their problem.

According to the numbers, less than half of internet surfers are using IE6 any more, with IE7 on the rise with one-third, and the rest divided over FF and the others. So, duh!
