The Labor of Website Updates

I think I've mentioned it before: I have this website.  Even though my ambition for it has always been to regularly add new material to it, the reality is that I don't do it very often.  A big reason for that is that it does take a chunk of time to build a webpage.  I'm not the best at it, and half the time I'm not entirely sure I know what I'm ( Read more... )

The text doesn't run off the right on my Firefox display. Instead, there's a huge margin on the right to keep it from getting anywhere near there.

There's obviously tweaks needed in the display, especially lining up them link buttons, but overall it looks nice and works.

The most important change suggestion I see at the moment may be fixed quickly: the dangling participle in the first sentence of the bio.

I've tried to keep it that way, since one never knows whether the visitors browsers and computers can handle lots of bells and whistles. Besides, I hate when sites take forever to load, so I try to keep things that will be cluttery to their own pages, and off the front page at least.

I frequent call it my permanent, expandable magazine. The website, that is.
