I love this story. I saw it on twispitefic and had to finish it. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Thank you so much! Next chapter will be up in two weeks - I try for every Monday night, but I haven't quite finished yet.

This is another really good chapter! I was wondering if Elena Lincoln was going to make an appearance.

Grace and Carrick are definitely in character. Good for Allie getting one over on Grace.

Good thing Lindsay and Allie didn't like the public handjob either.

I also wondered if everything around here always revolved around Christian Grey, or if it was only when he was present. - That's a good question.

Elena is a sneaky, manipulative cow.

Melty the Swan was priceless!

Taylor's reaction to being approached was very believable.

Let's hope the magic works!

Fourth chapter of SC is on my LJ.

It's weird, but I think Grace is the Carlisle of this story. Most of the family problems seem to stem directly from her take on parenting, the denial seems canonically to be coming first from her, it's her interests that define the whole family, and that house... plus, she chose the kids. Carrick is really sort of meek and non-confrontational, and sort of a nonentity in the story, like Esme ( ... )

I adore this story! And way to give Elena some characterization past Christian's Fangirl! She's an actual villain!

Also, way to go, Lindsay, calling the Greys out!

Somebody had to call the Greys out. :D

Thank you: I see Elena's few canonical interactions as being sort of contradictory and, if you try to reconcile them, sneaky, so I brought it in.

Thank you so much for having Allie and Lindsay be nice to Taylor. He and Leila are probably the only decent characters in this entire series, and they both deserve some serious love, cocoa, and a quiet room filled with soft, friendly blankets and pillows.

I know. All the cocoa will be had.

So many revelations! Christian was a bastard! (As in, literally, hahaha) I wonder what Elena is using Christian for, since she seemed to "care" very strongly about his relationships/wellbeing. For her business? Or is there really concern? Hmm.. :\

Also, Ana going against Elena was quite a shocker for me; I thought with Christian draining her aura, she would be some defenseless little mouse simply accepting anything that came. So she's fighting back too! :D :D :D

"And if I’d truly been a great detective, I would have known ahead of time that I ought to record that threat for future reference, because it seemed rather more ominous than the mere words that it was made of."

Is that a warning of the things to come? :O Something bad gonna happen?

And hmm, what drew Linds to Jason? I can only assume that Jason is going to be someone useful in this investigation! ;)

(Also, I chuckled every time Melty the Swan was mentioned. Poor guy. XD)

Yeah, Christian is a bastard dickwad. In canon, Elena is confusing as all hell, but I think I've sorted out her priorities correctly. (As in, if Fifty Shades was set somewhere that resembled reality.)

Oh yeah, that's in canon too - Ana does not like Elena, though I think a large part of that is that she feels threatened by her.

Well, Ning, you see - [WARNING, THIS COMMENT HAS BEEN REDACTED BY THE SPOILER POLICE.]

Poor, poor Melty the Swan! Victim of a cruel world in which people with more money than sense leave him to slowly collapse upon a soggy outdoor carpet in June!
