Good afternoon, ladies, gentlemen, and assorted others. This is Lady Nighteyes with another installment of "Let's Play Suikoden Tierkreis!" When last we left off, we'd just completed another mission and fended off another attack from the forces of evil and were about to get to the other random tasks Moana found for us. Moana's good at that.

Tongatihi seems like kind of a moron. I'd say that he shouldn't really be qualified to be a Traveller, but from the sound of things, he was actually an estate agent who just got dragged into this mess, so maybe I should let him off. Still, though, this is a guy who starts off being interested in magic portal windows, then gets hired to make actual physical windows, and what he actually does is change the colour of your game menu windows. Can he get anything right? (And can you demo the other colours, incidentally

Yeah, he kind of is. When Sieg outthinks you easily, you have a problem. And all right, will do.

I think an actually intelligent protagonist would not have needed the additional hints to figure it out. Admittedly, I don't think she's really trying to hide it. As for Yovel... I will say that he is not Icas. Icas is not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, and would undoubtedly give himself away very quickly by hitting on someone.

It's just... so hilariously undignified, it's great. Especially since the swooping "ZOMG BOSS FIGHT" camera-pan makes it seem like it's supposed to be intimidating.

That comparison had occurred to me. Though I think it gets a lot more interesting based on some of Rizwan's later behavior. [SPOILER REDACTED]She's not as one-dimensionally exploitive and cruel as she appears right now- there's a subtle implication that she let Sieg escape when they finally do rescue Manaril. Since I'm sure Danash would not be amused if she had tried to get Manaril out any other way and she says while looking sad that Manaril would probably
