Heya peeps. This is Lady Nighteyes, who thanks to recent events in her life has not been feeling very funny lately and as such has been quite lax in updating this. Good luck with your own real-life circumstances; I totally understand. Thank you for updating even though you don't totally feel like it ( ... )

Hopefully I will be able to persevere through it enough to get my smartassed commentary a little closer to back on schedule, but only time will tell.

Most of the win quotes are huge non sequiturs. If I counted all the times Sieg shouted "We won't know until we try!" for no discernible reason after a fight, that counter would be going up much faster.

I like them too. Especially that "failure as a human being" line, because it's glorious.

I think they just translated it badly, because everything else in the story is treating it as, "You can only leave another world through the same Gateway you came in from." As for the Wanderers, I'm pretty sure the ones we see are all "native" to this world, with the possible exception of Wahie. As Other Marica said, there are Wanderer tribes in other worlds, but I think their usual MO is to have expeditions into other worlds to trade, but mostly live and work in their home world.

I just generally appreciate the fact that Sieg is adopted and doesn't know anything about his parents, but he doesn't ( ... )

He doesn't do too much, I'm afraid. Although I guess you'd see more of him if you actually used the wireless function.
