Pushing the door open just enough to step into the bar, Terezi didn't waste time in taking notice of her surroundings. The first and perhaps only actually disappointing notion was that the only one she actually knew wasn't here, but she didn't feel any less discouraged; in any case it gave her some time to get acquainted with her surroundings and this young lady.
She closed the door behind her and sort of stood there, nodding in acknowledgement to her first comment and explanation and stating an idle 'I see'. Then, she grinned. "I don't suppose I can get away with just getting some water, huh?" The thing is, Terezi was never one to drink. "I'm supposed to be waiting for someone."
That wasn't quite true; but it was a good conversation starter and a vague indicator, should this girl be friends with Egbert.
It was a fairly nice building, at least for being one located in the slums. Open, there were two other tables aside from the bar, a jukebox, a pinball machine that didn't work anymore and cramped into the back corner a kitchen.
The lighting was somewhat poor, but that was only to be expected.
"Water it is!" A surprising choice, but hey, Nepeta wasn't going to question it. She slid off the table and made her way behind the bar where she got a clean glass and began to fill it.
"Waiting fur who?" Her own curiosity was growing. She looked like she might be from the Middle Plate like Kanaya, or possibly even higher than that. It made her both excited and wary at the same time.
