So, how was your prom?

If you've had one, of course. I'm just curious. Lots of people have said it's overrated, although the last batch of my school said theirs was extremely fun. ^^; Recently it's the only conversation filler anyone can think of. It's funny, actually. I'm just hoping that it will turn out all right. <3

Hahah, good luck with your own prom. Mine was okay. Didn't like my date, but met an interesting guy during the event--his girlfriend had to pry us apart. ^^;; After that, it went all boring, mainly because I shared a table with people I didn't like, but oh well. It was okay. I'll check out the fics the next time I'm free to read; I missed your writings. XD

I'm getting set up by my ninang, but I've spoken to my date and he seems like a nice guy. ^^ Well, yeah, I'm just crossing my fingers for now.

I hope the fics don't disappoint! They really aren't my favorite pieces of work, but oh well. u_u;; I tried! XD

I had a great time at prom. I went with a friend and sat with friends and I loved my dress and got a ton of compliments on it (though mostly of the shocked "Subdee, when she dresses up, is actually attractive ps why don't you wear makeup more often" variety. The reception was a blast. We got lost on the way -- the driver was Billy's friend's older brother -- and came late but not that late. Simon brought chopstick from his family's restaurant and we used them to eat the salad (^^;). Everyone danced and I'm sure we looked like dorks, but no one cared. After prom was over (the school actually locked us in until the official end time) we drove the bowling alley and bowled in prom dresses, then went to the pool hall.

I think what makes senior prom fun is that everyone knows that very shortly, they may never see each other again. Things look better when you know it's the end.

Your dress is gorgeous. :D Haha. And you look very pretty! IMHO the whole point of the prom is to enjoy seeing each other prettified and all dressed up, at least for one night. I study in an all-girls school, so it's probably also a special event because it's one of those few times we get together as a batch, with guys. Ahaha.

I'm not sure how I'll dance. With a date I'm not familiar with. I suppose I'll manage. XD Although I will look very awkward.

I think the senior prom (we call it grad ball) will be more meaningful, because yeah, we're all going to part ways soon. I hope we'll be able to have a nice one. (But we'll worry about that next year, I guess...)
