Showing my resolve? Hardly. Simply showing that even a girl who isn't on the front lines can stand up to these guys.

I'm aware of the risks. But having been on the wrong end of Lord Nemesis's schemes more times than I care to remember, I'm not going to just sit back and let someone else worry about it. I know that name doesn't mean anything to you, but on my world he's... well, he's the worst. He's centuries old, and has almost taken over the world several times.

I said I'd protect you, and I'm going to. Have faith, Yuma, I haven't even tipped my cards yet.
