Well I always liked seafood but only ate beef or milk because my parents forced me too. Even the smell of either makes me nausious. Pork too.
So I don't think I'll be eating those.

Ya really. I'd quit the vegan but I'd NEVER quit the drinking. Don't even joke about that Kira!

Well SOME good quality meat is better than none.
THough as I said I'm not aiming for perfect health - if I was I'd start with all the poisons that I put into my body on a regular basis. Ha.

This company says "We support local fishermen in Nova Scotia, Nunavut & B.C."

So, not from right here, but at least it's Canadian.

I have no problem with humans eating animals so long as they're responsible about it.

I definitely see the benefits of veganism but it's only loosely aligned with my own beliefs.. so following it started to feel pointless and wrong to me. Of course I won't be running to McDonalds for a big mac, haha... just eating a small amount of wild fish. :P

unless you've been craving it for a while, be ready for it to taste weird, if not crappy.

the only reason i STOPPED eating fish/seafood was because with all the other meatstuffs (ie beef broth, chicken, beef, pork, etc) gone from my life, all the seafood i was eating started tasting like cardboard. it was icky! so i stopped. :)

anyway....you know what yer doing when it comes to food, esp with the local farmers/etc, and i'm glad yer keeping it 'local' in the sense of 'canadian', and not from some other halfway-around-the-world place. :)

Good for you.

Is it a fresh salmon fillet or steak? The whole fish?
