Bold. I cant understand your decision, but what i CAN DO is respect your honesty. i cant imagine what it would be like to do what you are doing. I mean, i have never been a vegan, but if i were, i can at least understand the significance of your decision. you just smacked me in the face, with pants!

Part of the reason I went from no meats, to, no meats and no dairy was because I was living the life of habit. I forced myself to go further down the restriction and thinking list in hopes of discovering, or rediscovering, my own eating-ethical-environmental choices.
Problem is, while I've learned a great deal, its been a year and a half and I've kept myself busy enough that I've not managed to make any deep choices - I'm following habit again.
I'm glad you were able to make a choice. Hope it tasted good - try rainbow trout next time.
I actually dont plan on red meat ever.. never liked it, even the smell makes me gag (while seafood still smells tasty to me even though its been 10 years!)

Juice of one lemon
Small chopped onion
Butter or olive oil (optional)
throw it all in a dish and bake for about 20 minutes at 400-ish
